Job Summary Join our DART staff as an Assistant Swim Coach for our developmental program. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop coaching skills, support swim programs, and contribute to the growth of our athletes. Your energy, enthusiasm, and dedication will help inspire swimmers to achieve their personal best while ensuring their safety and enjoyment in the water. We are looking for an assistant coach who is available between 3:45-6:15 M-Th or at least two of those days. Responsibilities Coaching 6-12 year olds in our developmental track of our swim team. Use our curriculum to structure your own practice. Assist lead coaches in planning and delivering swim practices Support swimmers during practice, providing encouragement and constructive feedback to improve technique and performance Help organize fun meets swim meets Promote positive behavior management strategies to foster a respectful and inclusive environment for all participants Support team leadership by mentoring younger or less experienced swimmers and assisting with team-building activities Qualifications Demonstrated swimming ability with experience in coaching or teaching swimming techniques Background in sports coaching or sports-specific training instruction preferred Experience working with children or in childcare settings is highly desirable Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and team members Ability to manage behavior positively while maintaining a safe environment during all activities Previous experience in sports team leadership or physical education teaching is advantageous Lifeguarding or CPR/First aide is advantageous Join us as an Assistant Swim Coach for Dart to make a meaningful impact on our swimmers' lives! Pay:

$18.50 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 per week
