Continuous Description The Noncredit Business and Life Skills Division is currently accepting applications for part-time Basic Skills Interdisciplinary Instructors to teach Adult Basic and Secondary Education in the Student Success Center which includes: GED/HiSET test preparation GCC Adult High School Diploma Concurrent High School Credit Recovery/Advancement Classes Basic Skills College Readiness Examples of Duties Coach basic skills students in reading, mathematics, and writing Create and teach short-term, small group High School Equivalency preparation classes such as essay writing, reading comprehension, basic algebra, geometry, and statistics science social studies Minimum Qualifications Masters in any social science, humanities, mathematics, OR natural science discipline, OR liberal studies, as appropriate for the course.
