Job Summary Job Summary Coaches are responsible for developing students' skills, knowledge, teamwork, sportsmanship, and character. Duties include planning and conducting practices, coaching games and activities, teaching fundamentals and strategies, monitoring student progress, and maintaining a safe, positive, and inclusive environment. Coaches must communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff; follow all district and program policies; and support the overall goals of the assigned program.Available coaching assignments may include:

- Prior knowledge and experience in the sport or activity being coached
- Current CPR certification
- Successful DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance
- Current tuberculosis (TB) clearance
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide appropriate supervision of students at all times
- Plan, organize, and conduct practices and activities
- Coach and supervise students during school functions, including home and away games
- Maintain an accurate inventory of uniforms, supplies, and equipment
- Ensure equipment is used safely and properly
- Perform other related duties as assigned Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
- Prior knowledge and experience in the sport or activity being coached
