This energetic role offers the opportunity to foster teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship while guiding students through competitive seasons. As a vital part of our school community, you will create a positive environment that promotes physical activity, personal growth, and lifelong skills. Duties Teach fundamental techniques such as batting, pitching, fielding, and base running while emphasizing safety and proper form. Motivate students to achieve their personal best through encouragement, constructive feedback, and behavior management. Coordinate with school staff to ensure compliance with athletic policies and academic requirements. Foster teamwork and sportsmanship by promoting respectful communication among players, coaches, officials, and spectators. Monitor student-athletes' health and well-being during practices and competitions; address minor injuries or concerns promptly. Requirements Prior experience in sports coaching, particularly softball Knowledge of behavior management techniques to maintain discipline during practices and games. Experience with childcare or youth supervision is highly desirable. Certifications or training in lifesaving skills such as First Aid CPR. Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities, motivate students, and foster a positive team culture.
