Job Description
Job Summary Seeking motivated, dependable individuals to lead and grow satellite Track & Field and Cross Country programs in Redlands, San Bernardino, Riverside and Lake Elsinore, California . No prior coaching experience is required. We will provide complete training, curriculum, mentoring, and ongoing support to help you become a successful coach and program leader. This is an excellent opportunity for former athletes, teachers, college students, fitness professionals, parents, or anyone passionate about making a positive impact on young athletes. As the Head Coach of your satellite location, you will lead practices, develop athletes, build relationships with families, and help grow the local Hawks Track Club community. We are looking for leaders who are energetic, organized, and committed to learning. This is a paid coaching position with track/cross country experience and with no experience its internship for 1 season, (opportunities for advancement as your program grows). Qualifications Required Must be at least 18 years old. Reliable transportation. Ability to pass a background check. Strong communication and leadership skills. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Dependable, professional, and punctual. Comfortable working with youth athletes of various ages and abilities. Ability to work evenings and occasional weekends. Preferred (Not Required) Experience participating in Track & Field or Cross Country. Previous coaching, teaching, mentoring, or youth leadership experience. Background in athletics, fitness, education, or sports. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Experience organizing practices or leading groups. What We Provide Complete coach training—no experience necessary. Ongoing mentoring and support from experienced coaches.
