THE ROLE
You'll coach youth sports at our partner school sites in the Moreno Valley/Perris area during after-school program hours — teaching fundamentals, running practices and games, and being the kind of adult kids remember. Seasons rotate through the year, so you'll get reps across multiple sports. New coaches get paid training in the POW approach before leading a group.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Lead practices, skill-building sessions, and games for elementary and middle school athletes
  • Teach fundamentals with energy, patience, and structure
  • Manage your group safely — attendance, equipment, setup, and breakdown
  • Model the POW standard: effort, focus, respect, and sportsmanship
  • Communicate with school-site staff and POW leadership
SCHEDULE & PAY
  • Part-time, weekday afternoons during the school year at school sites in the Moreno Valley/Perris area
  • Additional paid hours available: officiating, game-day crew, and weekend events
  • Multiple positions open — we staff several sites
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • 18 or older, dependable, and great with kids
  • Playing or coaching background in one or more sports — we'll train the rest
  • Calm under chaos: you can hold a group's attention and keep it fun
  • College students and recent grads encouraged; kinesiology, psychology or education background a plus
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
REQUIREMENTS
  • Must clear a Live Scan (DOJ/FBI) background check and school-site clearance requirements, including mandated reporter training — we'll walk you through every step
