As a Flag Football Coach, you will be responsible for creating fun, safe, and instructional experiences that encourage participation and personal growth. Responsibilities Plan and execute engaging flag football practices and games that emphasize skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship Teach fundamental football techniques, rules, and strategies tailored to grades 3rd - 5th Foster a positive team environment by motivating players, managing behavior, and encouraging fair play Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, including proper use of equipment and adherence to safety guidelines Communicate effectively with players, parents, and guardians regarding team updates, schedules, and progress Monitor player development and provide constructive feedback to support individual improvement Maintain equipment inventory, set up practice areas, and ensure all activities comply with safety standards Experience Prior coaching experience in flag football or related sports such as soccer or basketball is preferred Experience working with children in educational or recreational settings is highly desirable Knowledge of sports-specific training instruction, including skill drills and game tactics Background in sports coaching or physical education teaching enhances your ability to lead effectively Certification in First Aid and CPR (including AED operation) is required; can be acquired after hiring Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage behavior and foster teamwork among young athletes Strong communication skills for engaging with players, parents, and team staff effectively Join us as a Flag Football Coach to make a lasting impact on young athletes' lives while enjoying a rewarding role that combines passion for sports with dedication to youth development.
