Henry M. Gunn High School is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Girls Varsity Assistant Basketball Coach to lead our student-athletes in a positive, competitive, and character-driven athletic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Basketball, a passion for developing young athletes, and a commitment to educational-based athletics.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and lead all practices, games, and team events Develop student-athletes' skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork Provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all players Communicate effectively with student-athletes, families, and school administration Adhere to all school, league (SCVAL), and CIF rules and regulations Promote the program within the school and broader community Collaborate with the Athletic Director on scheduling, transportation, and logistics
