About Us First Touch Soccer provides high-quality youth soccer coaching to develop confident, well-rounded young players by creating fun, structured, and engaging soccer experiences where every child can grow both on and off the field. The Opportunity We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and energetic Youth Soccer Coaches to join our coaching team for the 2026 Fall Season. This is much more than simply coaching soccer. Our coaches create positive environments where children build confidence, teamwork, resilience, and a love for the game. Contractors who are available for recurring program needs may receive additional coaching assignments throughout the season. Programs run for approximately 10-12 consecutive weeks. Availability throughout the season helps support continuity for players and families. This role is ideal for college students, teachers, education and kinesiology students, childcare professionals, youth workers, former athletes, coaches, and anyone who enjoys working with children.
Fall Season Program Period:
Approximately 10-12 consecutive weeks Contractors may indicate their preferred availability when accepting assignments. Coaching assignments are offered based on program needs and contractor availability. Contractors may accept or decline individual assignments Responsibilities Lead fun, structured, and age-appropriate soccer sessions for children ages 4-14. Create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment where every child can succeed. Teach soccer fundamentals while promoting teamwork, confidence, sportsmanship, and respect. Keep groups engaged through energetic, organized coaching. Adapt activities for different ages and skill levels. Communicate professionally with parents and fellow coaches. Set up and pack away equipment before and after sessions. Represent First Touch Soccer with professionalism and enthusiasm at every program. Ideal candidates have:
Experience working with children through coaching, camps, schools, childcare, or youth programs (preferred but not required). Soccer playing or coaching experience (preferred but not required). Strong communication and leadership skills. The ability to confidently lead groups of energetic children. Excellent reliability, punctuality, and professionalism. Reliable transportation to travel to assigned coaching locations. The ability to complete a California Live Scan background check. Must be at least 18 years old. Why Join First Touch Soccer?
