Located in the semi-rural region of Shasta County, between the cities of Redding and Anderson, our district consists of two schools: Prairie (TK-3) and Pacheco (4th-8th). Prairie serves about 330 students, and Pacheco serves approximately 375 students in grades 4-8. We are deeply committed to working in partnership with our parents and community, with the most active parent club in Shasta County, the Pacheco Prairie Parent Teacher Group (PPPTG). This group offers students a wide range of learning opportunities, from field trips to our all-district Winter Workshop.
