NorCal Elite Gymnastics | Redding, CA Part-Time | $17+ per hour | 20-25 hours per week NorCal Elite Gymnastics is looking for an energetic, positive, and reliable Recreational Gymnastics Coach & Events Host to join our team! This is a hands-on position for someone who genuinely enjoys working with kids. You'll coach recreational gymnastics classes during the week and help create fun, safe, and memorable experiences during birthday parties, Parents Night Out, Open Gym, camps, and other special events.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Recreational Gymnastics Coach preschool through Level 3 recreational gymnastics classes Teach proper fundamentals, technique, and age-appropriate skill progressions Follow NorCal Elite curriculum, lesson plans, and safety procedures Keep classes structured, active, encouraging, and fun Help athletes build confidence, strength, coordination, and a love for gymnastics Communicate professionally with parents, coaches, and management Events & Birthday Parties Help host birthday parties, Parents Night Out, Open Gym, camps, and special events Welcome children and families and create a fun, positive experience from start to finish Lead gymnastics activities, obstacle courses, group games, open gym, crafts, and other event activities Supervise children throughout the gym and ensure equipment is used safely Help birthday parties stay organized and on schedule, including transitions between gym and party time Assist with event setup, cleanup, and resetting the gym for the next program

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Experience in gymnastics, cheer, dance, athletics, PE, childcare, camps, or working with children is preferred Gymnastics coaching experience is a plus, but a great attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are equally important Energetic and comfortable leading groups of children Patient, encouraging, responsible, and safety-minded Strong communication and customer-service skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Comfortable with an active job that includes demonstrating skills, spotting, lifting/moving equipment, and being on your feet CPR/First Aid certification preferred, or willingness to obtain

SCHEDULE & PAY

Starting at $17+ per hour , based on experience and certifications Approximately 20-25 hours per week available Weekday afternoon/evening availability is important for recreational classes. Weekend and some evening availability is needed for birthday parties, Parents Night Out, and special events.
