Job Description

Position Overview NSG Impact is seeking skilled and dependable Youth Boxing Instructors to lead after-school boxing programs for elementary and middle school students in a school setting. This is a non-contact program focused on teaching basic boxing fundamentals, building confidence, and encouraging social-emotional growth. All boxing and SEL curriculum training will be provided. Instructors serve as mentors, role models, and behavior managers ensuring students learn in a safe, structured, and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Teach basic boxing techniques, drills, and footwork (non-contact) Incorporate social-emotional learning principles into daily lessons (training provided) Manage classroom and student behavior, encouraging respect and self-discipline Mentor students, fostering confidence and a positive mindset Maintain a safe and inclusive program space at all times Record attendance and communicate any concerns to program leadership Attend paid training and follow provided lesson plans Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Boxing experience required — full training provided on Social Emotional Learning Experience working with youth is desired Positive role model with strong leadership and communication skills Reliable, professional, and committed to student success Must be able to pass a Department of Justice (DOJ) background check No criminal record of any kind is permitted Available to work after school hours, typically starting after 2:00 PM (Monday's , Wednesday's, Friday's) Ability to maintain structure, safety, and engagement in a group setting
