Job Description
Extreme Game Coach Extreme Game Truck Sacramento Sacramento, CA Part-Time | Event-Based Pay $50.00 hr each event + $1.25 per towing mile + 100% of tips Extreme Game Truck Sacramento is looking for a dependable, energetic and responsible Game Coach to deliver mobile gaming experiences at birthday parties, school events, community events and other celebrations throughout the Sacramento area. Events are generally located within approximately a 30-mile radius of Sacramento and primarily take place on weekends. What You'll Do
- Pick up and tow our 20-foot, approximately 6,500-lb game trailer to scheduled events
- Safely hook up, tow, back, park and position the trailer
- Set up and prepare the game truck before guests arrive
- Welcome guests and help kids and adults get started
- Host and supervise gaming sessions
- Keep events organized, fun and running on schedule
- Assist guests with PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo gaming systems
- Perform basic gaming-system troubleshooting when needed
- Monitor and protect gaming equipment during events
- Provide friendly, professional customer service to parents and event organizers
- Perform basic setup and breakdown
- Safely return the game trailer after completing scheduled events Pay, Mileage & Tips Game Coaches receive:
- $50.00 hr for each event worked
- $1.25 per mile while transporting the game trailer
- 100% of tips received
- Opportunity to work multiple events based on availability and our bookings Requirements because Game Coaches use their own vehicle to tow our trailer:
- Must own a reliable truck capable of safely towing a 6,500-lb trailer
- At least 2 years of towing/hauling experience preferred
- Must be comfortable towing, backing and parking a 20-foot trailer
- Valid driver's license required
- Acceptable DMV driving record
- Must be willing to provide/authorize a DMV driving-record check
- Proof of current auto insurance required
- Required auto insurance must remain active and in good standing throughout employment
- Must notify Extreme Game Truck Sacramento of any lapse or material change in required vehicle insurance Employment Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be willing to complete a background check as a condition of employment
- Comfortable working with children, teens and families
- Dependable, punctual and professional
- Strong customer-service skills
- Comfortable with PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo gaming systems
- Basic troubleshooting ability
- Able to work independently and responsibly care for company equipment
- Able to follow towing, safety and event procedures
- Primarily available weekends, with some evening availability
- Willing and able to travel to events within approximately a 30-mile radius of Sacramento Drug & Alcohol Safety Policy Game Coaches must comply with the company's drug
- and alcohol-free workplace and driving policy. Employees may not report to work, operate a vehicle, tow the game trailer, or perform job duties while impaired by drugs or alcohol. Compensation:
$50.00 hr per event + $1.25 per towing mile + 100% of tipsPay:
