The Head Frosh/Soph Girls Tennis Coach leads all aspects of the Frosh/Soph Girls Tennis program, including practices, competitions, player development, and team culture. The coach works collaboratively with the Head Varsity Girls Tennis Coach to maintain a unified program philosophy and prepare student-athletes for advancement. The coach is expected to uphold and promote Mater Dei High School's values and contribute to a positive, disciplined, and faith-centered team environment. The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated record of providing sound leadership in a Tennis program, including conducting daily competitive practices, a track record of building healthy relationships with student-athletes in the program, and clearly communicating expectations to student-athletes, parents, and the Varsity Head Coach. This position starts August 15, 2026, and ends November 10, 2026. NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching, NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest, NFHS Concussion in Sports, NFHS Heat Illness Prevention, CPR/First Aid/AED certification are required. This position will be responsible for managing the program in alignment with and dedicated to the mission of Catholic education, as envisioned in Church documents and teachings, rooted in our core principles of Honor, Glory, and Love.
Education :
High School diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience :
Previous tennis coaching experience preferred.
Stipend :
$3,000-6,000 based on experience
