Company Description Founded in 1999, Champion's QUEST is the premier Athlete Academy, specializing in the year-round development of student-athletes 7-18 prepping for H.S. and college sports. Combining functional athletic training with mental toughness strategies, Champion's QUEST helps athletes realize their full potential. With a focus on building competitive self-confidence and a passion for growth, the academy offers a holistic approach to athlete development. Located in Los Alamitos, CA, Champion's QUEST equips young athletes with the tools for success, both on and off the court, shaping their future achievements. Role Description This part-time (progressing to full time), on-site role is based in Los Alamitos, CA (greater Long Beach area), and focuses on assisting female high school prep and college prep (7-18 year old) student-athletes in enhancing their soccer skills and overall athletic performance. As a soccer specialist, you will design and implement training programs tailored to improve athletic performance, strength, conditioning, speed, agility and mental toughness. The role also involves mentoring athletes to foster discipline, setting performance goals, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure optimal results for each athlete as you assist them with both HS and College Prep development. Qualifications Previous College Women's Soccer Team Athlete (Mandatory & Required) Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Sports Science, PE, or a related field (Mandatory & Required) Expertise in Athletic Performance, Strength, and Conditioning Experience in Coaching, Business Coaching, or Training athletes Strong understanding of basketball techniques and performance optimization Excellent communication and leadership skills to mentor and motivate young athletes Passion for athletic development and a dedication to fostering personal and athletic growth Certifications in strength training (e.g., NASM, NSCA, CSCS or similar) Prior experience in working with athletes is a plus
