As an Assistant Coach, you'll work alongside a supportive coaching staff dedicated to helping each athlete reach their fullest potential.

To develop safe, confident, happy swimmers for life. Our Core Values Love and Respect for All Enthusiastic Problem Solver Professional Team Player What You'll Do As an Assistant Coach, you'll play an essential role in inspiring and developing swimmers of all ages and abilities.
Responsibilities Include:
Provide on-deck coaching and dryland instruction for all swim team levels Motivate athletes during practices and at home and away swim meets Deliver technical stroke instruction, including in-water correction when needed Follow the Daland 10 Coaching Principles and prescribed drills and skills Maintain accurate attendance records Assist with swim meets, camps, and special events Attend at least one swim meet per month Participate in coaching education and quarterly staff meetings Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional team environment Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive workplace culture Perform other duties as needed

Genuine enthusiasm for swimming and coaching USA Swimming Coaching Credentials (or willingness to obtain) Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Commitment to living and working by Daland's Core Values Strong communication and leadership skills Positive attitude and desire to help others succeed
