Job Description

Train GOAT Gainz is seeking experienced, energetic Youth Soccer Coaches to provide private and small-group soccer training for youth athletes of varying ages and skill levels. This role is a good fit for a coach who enjoys working with children, communicates well with families, and can create training sessions that are structured, positive, challenging, and fun. Responsibilities Lead private one-on-one and small-group soccer training sessions Teach age-appropriate soccer fundamentals and sport-specific skills Create engaging drills focused on technique, confidence, coordination, discipline, and player development Adapt training to different ages, experience levels, and individual goals Maintain a safe, positive, and encouraging training environment Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled sessions Communicate professionally with athletes, parents, and Train GOAT Gainz staff Represent Train GOAT Gainz professionally at local fields and training locations Travel to scheduled training locations throughout Thousand Oaks and nearby communities Qualifications Previous experience coaching, training, or instructing youth soccer Experience working with children of varying ages Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals and player development Positive, motivating, and age-appropriate coaching style Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently Reliable transportation to local training locations Successful completion of required background screening for work with minors, including DOJ Live Scan, is required Must meet all legal requirements applicable to the contracted role Schedule This is a part-time contracted position averaging approximately 5 to 20 hours per week. Scheduling varies based on athlete availability, training assignments, and seasonal program needs. Some afternoon, evening, and weekend availability may be needed. Compensation $25 to $30 per hour, depending on coaching experience, qualifications, and assignment.
