Demonstrate successful personality and character traits appropriate to educational leadership ? Demonstrate ability to develop and maintain a successful disciplined program ? Demonstrate ability to motivate student athletes ? Demonstrate ability to help students balance a demanding academic workload with an athletic commitment ? Demonstrate ability to instill commitment, discipline, and teamwork in a group of young people of perhaps widely varying athletic ability, socioeconomic background, or language skills ? Follow District policies, site procedures, CIF rules and the CIF Coaches Code of Ethics ? Plan and implement study sessions for athletics, utilizing adopted school programs ? Foster training in conduct, ethics and sportsmanship for all participants ? Supervision of the team before, during, and after practices, games and sporting events ?
