Responsibilities Assist the head coach in planning and executing football practices, drills, and game strategies that enhance player skills and teamwork. Support the development of individualized training programs, incorporating sports-specific techniques such as conditioning, agility, and tactical awareness. Help supervise team activities to ensure safety protocols are followed, including first aid procedures and AED operation when necessary. Contribute to behavior management by fostering a positive, inclusive environment that encourages respect and sportsmanship among players. Communicate effectively with players, parents, and staff to provide updates on team progress and upcoming events. Assist in organizing team logistics such as equipment management, game schedules, and transportation arrangements. Participate in ongoing coaching education, including certifications in CPR, first aid, and sports coaching best practices. Experience Previous experience working with children or youth in a sports or educational setting is highly desirable. Lifeguard experience or swimming skills are beneficial for supporting water safety during aquatic activities. Background in martial arts or climbing can contribute to diverse coaching techniques and physical training routines. Hands-on experience coaching soccer or basketball enhances your ability to teach team strategies effectively. Demonstrated leadership in sports teams or health club environments showcases your ability to motivate and guide young athletes. Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with students, parents, and colleagues clearly and professionally. Experience teaching physical education or working with children with behavioral management needs is advantageous for creating an inclusive atmosphere.
