The ideal candidate will have a passion for soccer and a strong desire to inspire and develop young athletes. Position Summary The Women's Varsity Assistant Soccer Coach supports the Head Coach in developing a competitive, positive, and student-centered soccer program. The coach assists with practices, game preparation, player development, and team culture while serving as a positive role model for student-athletes. Responsibilities Assist with planning and conducting practices. Teach soccer skills, tactics, and game strategies. Support player development and provide feedback. Assist with game preparation, match management, and scouting. Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, accountability, and academic success. Help manage equipment, field setup, and team logistics. Ensure compliance with school and athletic association policies. Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all student-athletes. Qualifications Previous soccer playing or coaching experience. Knowledge of soccer fundamentals, tactics, and rules. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to work evenings and weekends during the season. Current CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain). Successful completion of required background checks. Preferred Qualifications High school, club, or collegiate coaching experience. Coaching certification preferred but not required. Experience working with female student-athletes. Compensation Seasonal stipend based on district salary schedule. The ideal candidate is passionate about developing young athletes, fostering a positive team culture, and supporting excellence both on and off the field.
