Length of Work Year 2026-27 WINTER Employment Type Part Time Job Summary Job Summary Pioneer High School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Varsity Girls Soccer Head Coach to lead and develop our girls soccer program. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; foster a positive and competitive team culture; and prioritize the academic, athletic, and personal development of student-athletes.
Position Responsibilities Include:
Plan and lead practices, games, and team activities. Develop student-athletes' technical skills, tactical understanding, and teamwork. Promote sportsmanship, accountability, and a positive team environment. Communicate effectively with athletes, families, coaching staff, and school administration. Manage assistant coaches and support the overall development of the program. Follow all school, district, and CIF policies and requirements. Support fundraising, community engagement, and program-building efforts.
Requirements / Qualifications
Prior coaching experience at the high school level or higher is preferred, though qualified candidates with comparable experience are encouraged to apply.

  • NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching & the CA State Component
  • Concussion Certificate
  • Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate
  • Valid CPR Certificate
  • Valid First Aid Certificate
  • Heat Acclimatization Certificate
  • TB test
  • Guidelines for the Workplace & Youth Sports Protocol & Recommendations (link will be provided)
  • Mandated Reporter (Child Abuse Certificate)
