BVSD Summary:

Girls Basketball Coach, Middle School -6 week season starting 1/6/27 to 2/12/27. Seasonal pay is $1,792. Daily practice from 3:15 to 4:30 PM and Wednesday 3:35 to 4:30 PM, the season will have si games. The position is supervised and evaluated by the athletic director.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective offensive and defensive strategies for games. Create and lead daily practices, focusing on fundamental skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting. Foster teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among players. Provide constructive feedback and motivation to players to improve their game. Manage and care for team equipment. Work with the Athletic Assistant for team travel arrangements. Act as a positive role model for student-athletes.

Certifications:

First Aid and CPR certification may be required.

Eperience:

Previous playing and coaching eperience in basketball is highly desirable.

Skills:

Ecellent basketball knowledge, including understanding of game rules and strategies. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to develop training programs for individual and team improvement. Knowledge of eercise science, player conditioning, and fitness.
