amar Community College (LCC) is seeking a motivated and dynamic leader to guide the future of our Women's Soccer program. This is an exciting opportunity to build a competitive program, recruit and develop talented student-athletes, and create an environment where students can succeed both on the field and in the classroom. This full-time, 12-month, exempt position provides leadership for all aspects of Women's Soccer, including recruiting and retention, coaching, scheduling, budgeting, student-athlete eligibility and academic progress, team operations, and promotion of LCC Athletics. The Head Coach will champion a culture of teamwork, accountability, sportsmanship, and student success while representing LCC Athletics throughout the College and community. The position is expected to uphold LCC and CCCS policies, NJCAA requirements, FERPA, and applicable local, state, and federal laws.Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction to student-athletes in essential skills, techniques, and game strategies.
- Conduct individual and team skill development sessions.
- Implement physical conditioning programs including strength training and cardio-based conditioning.
- Monitor academic progress; coordinate study halls, tutoring, and academic resources.
- Facilitate team-building activities, leadership development, and community engagement projects.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure oversight of all program activities.
- Plan, organize, and lead practices according to scheduled times.
- Oversee game management responsibilities for home events.
- Coordinate travel logistics for away competitions.
- Recruit and retain prospective student-athletes in accordance with NJCAA and institutional guidelines.
- Complete and maintain all NJCAA recruiting documentation and compliance requirements.
- Plan and manage individual and team camps.
- Promote LCC Athletics through community involvement and professional representation of the college.
- Participate in HLC and institutional accreditation activities, including team assignments and project participation.
- Uphold FERPA, Title IX, Clery, NJCAA, CCCS, and all institutional, local, state, and federal regulations.
- Serve on campus committees as assigned.
- Perform other duties as designated by the Athletic Director.

Knowledge of sport-specific coaching techniques, recruiting practices, and NJCAA regulations. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to recruit, develop, mentor, and retain student-athletes. Ability to foster academic success, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Ability to manage program operations, travel, scheduling, and compliance requirements. Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, accountability, and commitment to student success. Ability to maintain compliance with institutional and athletic governing body requirements.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience. Minimum of three (3) years of college coaching experience. Demonstrated commitment to student development and character-building. Strong organizational and budget-management skills. Ability to fundraise and support program needs. Availability of working evenings, weekends, and travel as required. Knowledge of Region 9 Soccer and Southeast Colorado. Ability to recruit both Colorado and out-of-state student-athletes. Experience working with a diverse student population.Preferred Qualifications:
Additional college coaching experience. Experience with event operations, Sports Information, website management, or marketing. Experience with video breakdown and digital media tools.Selection Process:
