Company Overview Momentum Athletic Center is dedicated to fostering a positive and empowering environment for young athletes and their families. Our focus is on delivering exceptional gymnastics programs while nurturing lifelong skills such as respect, discipline, teamwork, and confidence through engaging activities and supportive coaching. Job Summary We are seeking energetic and motivated Youth Events/Camp Coaches to lead dynamic youth programs and camps. In this paid position, you will create fun, safe, and educational experiences for children of various ages, encouraging their development through sports, activities, and team-building exercises. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire young minds while honing your leadership and childcare skills. Responsibilities Lead engaging youth activities, sports, and camp sessions that promote teamwork, confidence, and fun. Ensure the safety of all children by supervising their behavior and maintaining a secure environment. Implement age-appropriate activities that support childhood development and youth engagement. Follow established safety protocols including first aid procedures, CPR, AED operation, and behavior management strategies. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to foster a positive experience. Assist with setting up activity spaces and maintaining equipment in excellent condition. Support the planning and execution of special events or themed camp days to enhance participant enjoyment. Qualifications Experience working with children in educational, recreational, or childcare settings. Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, or willingness to obtain upon hire. Background in special education or childhood development is a plus. Previous camp experience or youth program facilitation is highly desirable. Strong team leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide young participants. Outdoor work experience preferred for outdoor activity supervision. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward youth development. Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 2.0 - 15.0 per week
