Job Description
ACES Wintergreen Magnet School is seeking two energetic and enthusiastic basketball coaches. We are seeking a lead for the boys basketball team, and a lead for the girls basketball team. The ideal candidates should be versed in the rules of basketball, familiar with middle school age students, and able to connect with both students and families. The coaching positions will require coordinating and leading games in collaboration with the Athletic Coordinator. A passion for sharing the love of the sport, teaching/modeling the sport to youth and utilizing abilities to develop a team approach in the youth they serve is a must. Coaches must attend weekly practices (2-3 times per week), and all games (1-2 times per week). State of CT Coaching course, the Module 15 Concussion course, and Standard First Aid and CPR course. ED 185 form filed with the State of CT.
