This individual will oversee NYA Volleyball Programs, Volleyball Clinics, Private Lessons, and can develop and implement new training ideas, leagues, and special events. Coach must be passionate about player development, enjoy working with athletes of varying skill levels, and is excited to help grow volleyball within our community. Responsibilities Design and implement volleyball training programs tailored to different age groups and skill levels Lead practice sessions, drills, and game strategies to improve team performance Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating environment for all athletes Monitor athlete progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance skills Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and discipline among participants Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities Collaborate with parents, school staff, or organization officials regarding athlete development and participation Assist in organizing tournaments or competitions as needed
Qualifications:
Previous volleyball coaching or playing experience (club, high school, or collegiate level preferred). Strong knowledge of volleyball fundamentals, drills, and teaching techniques. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to motivate and connect with athletes of all ages and skill levels. Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple programs simultaneously. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Must pass a background check.
