Swim Instructor Bulldog Swim Academy Orange, CT Job Details Part-time $18.00 - $19.50 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Experience working with children First Aid Certification Working with students Student-centered approaches (student motivation techniques) AED Certification Full Job Description Seeking friendly and supportive Swim Instructors to teach students ages 4-12 about water safety and swimming techniques utilizing our approved curriculum. Ideal candidates will have a genuine love for working with children and have a positive attitude! Responsibilities Lead youth swim classes for students (ages 6 months-12 years). Use progressive, flexible teaching techniques tailored to different comfort levels. Keep classes structured, safe, and engaging for all participants. Celebrate every victory, big or small, and help students reach personal swim goals. Communicate clearly and positively with participants of all backgrounds and ages. Communicate with parents and caregivers to support learning and confidence. Create a warm, welcoming environment for families.
What We're Looking For:
Empathy, patience, and a strong belief in lifelong learning. Swim instruction or coaching experience (preferred, but we'll train the right fit). Ability to motivate and connect with nervous or hesitant swimmers. Strong communication and water safety skills. CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willing to obtain). Why Bulldog Swim Academy?
