Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Boys Lacrosse Head Coach to join our team. As a Head Lacrosse Coach, you will be responsible for teaching and training players in the fundamentals of lacrosse, developing their skills, and fostering a love for the game. This is a paid position that offers an exciting opportunity to work with students and help them grow in their lacrosse abilities.
Duties:
  • Plan and conduct lacrosse training sessions for players of various skill levels
  • Teach players the rules and techniques of lacrosse
  • Develop practice drills and exercises to improve players' skills
  • Organize and lead team practices, scrimmages, and games
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to players to help them improve
  • Create a positive and supportive environment for players to learn and grow
  • Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play among players
  • Ensure the safety of all players during practices and games.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a lacrosse Coach or playing experience at a competitive level/College/or beyond
  • Strong knowledge of lacrosse rules, techniques, and strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well with children and young adults
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring students
  • Ability to motivate and inspire players to reach their full potential
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for practices, games, and tournaments
  • Sports coaching: Experience in coaching other sports can provide transferable skills in leadership, communication, and strategy
  • Ability to educate: The ability to effectively convey information and teach new skills is essential for a lacrosse Coach.
