Job Description

Premier Cheer & Tumble is a growing competitive cheer and recreational training program in Boca Raton. We work with athletes ranging from young beginners to experienced competitive All Star athletes. We're looking for an energetic, dependable, and knowledgeable Tumbling Coach / Recreational Instructor who loves working with athletes and wants an opportunity to grow within our program. This isn't just about spotting tumbling skills. We're looking for a coach who can teach, communicate, motivate, and create a positive environment where athletes want to improve.
What You'll Do:
As a Tumbling Coach / Recreational Instructor, you may coach recreational tumbling classes, private lessons, clinics, camps, and other Premier programs based on your experience and availability.
Responsibilities include:
Teaching proper tumbling technique and progressions Coaching athletes with different ages and ability levels Safely spotting appropriate tumbling skills Developing athletes' strength, flexibility, confidence, and technique Running organized and productive classes Providing corrections and positive feedback Communicating professionally with athletes, parents, and fellow coaches Maintaining a safe, energetic, and encouraging training environment Being prepared and on time for assigned classes Assisting with camps, clinics, showcases, parties, or special events when needed Supporting Premier's standards, culture, and athlete-development philosophy
Who We're Looking For:
We're looking for someone who is reliable first. Coaching knowledge is extremely important, but so are attendance, communication, professionalism, and the ability to work as part of a team.
The ideal candidate:
Has previous tumbling, gymnastics, cheerleading, or related coaching experience Understands proper tumbling progressions and technique Is comfortable working with children of different ages and skill levels Can safely spot skills appropriate to their experience level Is energetic and engaged while coaching Communicates well with parents, athletes, and coworkers Takes initiative and doesn't need constant direction Is dependable and takes their schedule seriously Is coachable and willing to continue learning Wants to grow within a program rather than simply work a few classes Experience coaching advanced tumbling is a plus but is not required for every applicant. We are open to developing the right coach who has a strong foundation, great attitude, and willingness to learn. Compensation & Growth Starting compensation: $18-$25+/hour, depending on coaching experience, skill level, certifications, responsibilities, and overall qualifications. Premier has a structured coaching development system designed to provide opportunities for increased responsibility and compensation as coaches develop. Advancement is based on factors such as coaching effectiveness, athlete development, reliability, leadership, experience, certifications, initiative, professionalism, and overall contribution to Premier. Additional earning opportunities may also be available through private lessons, camps, clinics, parties, and other programs. Schedule This is a part-time position, primarily during afternoon/evening and weekend programming. Specific hours will depend on availability, experience, and program needs. We're particularly interested in candidates who can maintain consistent weekly availability. Why Premier?
