The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in swimming and youth sports coaching. This role involves working with individuals of various skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers, to develop their swimming techniques, enhance their performance, and foster a love for the sport. Duties Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs of each swimmer. Ensure safety and proper technique. Monitor swimmers' progress and provide feedback to enhance their skills. Organize and lead swim practices, drills, and conditioning sessions. Foster a positive and encouraging environment that promotes teamwork and sportsmanship. Maintain a safe swimming environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines. Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss swimmer progress and areas for improvement. Participate in swim meets and competitions as needed, providing support to athletes. Requirements Proven experience in swimming coaching or teaching swimming techniques is preferred. Experience working with students of varying ages, particularly children, is essential. Strong communication skills to effectively convey instructions and motivate swimmers.
