Job Description

Swim Coach - Clearwater Aquatics Clearwater Aquatics is looking for an energetic and motivated Swim Coach to join our growing team at the Long Center in Clearwater, Florida. We are seeking a coach who is passionate about teaching, developing swimmers, and creating a positive team environment for athletes of all ages and skill levels. Position Details Part-time or Full-time available Competitive pay starting Indoor pool facility Flexible scheduling Opportunity to grow with a competitive swim program Responsibilities Plan and lead swim practices for all levels Teach proper stroke technique, starts, and turns Prepare swimmers for swim meets and competitions Promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship Communicate with parents and coaching staff Assist with meeting setup and team activities Qualifications Competitive swimming or coaching experience preferred Positive attitude and strong leadership skills Reliable and organized Ability to work with children and athletes of all ages CPR/First Aid certification preferred About Us Clearwater Aquatic Team offers swim lessons, competitive swimming, private lessons, and dryland training in a year-round indoor facility unaffected by rain, lightning, or extreme Florida heat. To apply, please send your resume and swim experience Qualifications Prior experience as a lifeguard or in water safety roles is highly desirable Proven background in sports coaching, teaching, or physical education with a focus on swimming Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and water safety protocols Experience working with children or students in educational or childcare settings Must have classifications in lifesaving, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), first aid, or related safety training upon hiring
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
