Job Description

Overview Love volleyball? Love working with kids? Come coach with us! We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic Youth Volleyball Coach to join our after-school sports program. This is a hands-on opportunity to introduce young athletes to volleyball, help them develop their skills, build confidence, and most importantly, have FUN while doing it! Our coaches create a positive and encouraging environment where every child feels included, supported, and excited to participate. You don't have to be a professional coach — we're looking for someone who knows the game, enjoys working with children, and brings great energy to every session.
Pay:
$35-$50 per 75-minute session, based on experience.
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 2:45-4:00
PM Commitment:
1-4 consistent afternoons per week Additional opportunities: Coaching hours may increase as enrollment and programming expand. Responsibilities Lead fun, age-appropriate volleyball sessions for elementary-aged students. Teach fundamental volleyball skills including serving, passing, setting, hitting, movement, and teamwork. Create an energetic and positive environment where kids enjoy coming to practice. Encourage players of all skill levels and help them build confidence. Teach sportsmanship, teamwork, communication, respect, and good character. Keep students active, engaged, and participating throughout each session. Help organize and properly use volleyball equipment. Maintain a safe and positive environment for all students. Serve as a positive role model on and off the court. Follow school expectations and contribute to a positive Catholic school environment. Experience Previous volleyball playing and/or coaching experience is preferred. Experience working with children is a plus. College athletes, former high-school or club athletes, coaches, teachers, and education or sports-related students are encouraged to apply. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is energetic, enthusiastic, reliable, patient, and loves working with kids. Must be comfortable leading and encouraging a group of elementary-aged students. What We're Looking For The right coach is someone who: Brings positive energy every day. Loves working with children.
