Base Salary + Performance Bonuses Epic Outdoor Transformations is seeking a highly experienced, self-sufficient Estimator & Preconstruction Coordinator for our Deerfield Beach office. This is a 100% office-based position—no sales and no jobsite visits. Our sales team provides the project scope, plans, photos, measurements and customer selections. You will independently turn that information into accurate pricing, scopes, contracts, permit/engineering coordination and construction-ready project documentation.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build detailed project estimates using our Microsoft Excel estimating/pricing systems.
• Prepare scopes of work, contracts and change orders in Microsoft Word.
• Review plans and perform quantity/material takeoffs.
• Coordinate permitting, engineering, plan revisions and building department comments.
• Verify that plans, pricing, contracts and scopes all match.
• Obtain and maintain vendor/subcontractor pricing and organize project documentation in our CRM.
• Search & find best quality and pricing for all materials, equipment, accessories needed
• Utilize ChatGPT/AI extensively to improve speed, accuracy and quality control.

EXPERIENCE WE WANT

Swimming pool and/or outdoor construction experience is strongly preferred. Candidates should understand pool construction components such as excavation, steel/rebar, gunite, plumbing, electrical, equipment, tile, coping, plaster and decking, in addition to hardscape knowledge & application with fire/water features, outdoor kitchens, custom seating/builds, patio covers/roofs/pergolas, landscaping. We need someone who can take ownership of an assignment and complete it without constant supervision. You must be organized, resourceful, detail-oriented and capable of researching and solving routine issues independently. This is not an entry-level position where every step will be provided. If you can receive a project from our sales team, understand what is being built, determine what needs to be priced, build the estimate, prepare the documentation and identify missing information before being asked, you are the type of person we're looking for.

Approximately 45 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed
