Job Description
Team Omnia is hiring an energetic and dependable Youth Sports Performance Coach to lead strength and conditioning sessions for athletes ages 9-15. Our program helps young athletes build strength, muscle, coordination, confidence, and overall athletic ability through age-appropriate bodybuilding and performance training. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with kids and can create a positive environment while maintaining structure, safety, and high coaching standards. Responsibilities Coach youth athletes ages 9-15 in small-group training sessions Teach age-appropriate bodybuilding, strength, and conditioning exercises Demonstrate proper lifting technique and correct athletes when needed Lead athletes through warm-ups, strength training, conditioning, and mobility Modify exercises based on each athlete's age, experience, and ability Keep athletes focused, engaged, and motivated throughout each session Maintain a safe, organized, and positive training environment Communicate professionally with athletes, parents, and other coaches Assist with gym setup, equipment organization, and general cleanliness Qualifications Experience coaching or working with children between the ages of 9 and 15 Knowledge of bodybuilding, resistance training, and strength and conditioning Strong communication and leadership skills Patient, energetic, dependable, and comfortable managing groups of young athletes Ability to teach proper movement mechanics and prioritize athlete safety Must be available during afternoon and evening hours CPR/AED certification Personal training, strength and conditioning, or USA Weightlifting certification preferred but not required We are willing to train the right person in the Team Omnia coaching system and can help a motivated coach pursue additional certifications. Ideal Candidate The ideal coach is passionate about helping young athletes improve, understands that coaching kids requires both patience and structure, and can make training challenging and enjoyable. You should be comfortable coaching beginners as well as athletes preparing for competitive sports.
