This role is essential to delivering the precision, efficiency, and high-quality results that define every Kiso project. Rooted in a culture of integrity, respect, and family, the MEP Coordinator supports the team by bringing clarity and structure to complex systems—helping transform client vision into buildable, coordinated solutions. Impact of the role In this position, you are not just producing drawings—you are ensuring that every system fits, functions, and performs as intended. Your attention to detail and coordination efforts help prevent conflicts, streamline construction, and elevate the overall quality of every project—playing a key role in delivering the level of excellence our clients expect. Responsibilities MEP Coordination & Layouts Develop detailed MEP coordination drawings, including: Shop Drawings & Submittals Create, submit, and manage shop drawings through approval process Distribute approved drawings to field teams Print, upload, and maintain documentation in Procore Review and mark up shop drawings prior to final approval Material & Fabrication Coordination Perform quantity takeoffs for key components (e.g., handrails, ladders) Process shop drawings for fabrication release Coordinate with vendorsfor review and production Track lead times and fabrication schedules BIM & Modeling Develop and manage models using Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Revit Participate in and support GC-led BIM coordination meetings Field & Survey Coordination Provide layout points and direction to survey teams Support coordination of collector tanks, control panels and related systems Ensure alignment between design documents, building models, and field execution Pipe routing shop drawings Equipment room and pad layouts Pipe penetration and blockout layouts Electrical conduit layouts Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred. 2 years of experience preferred. Proficiency in Bluebeam, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. Strong understanding of MEP systems and the coordination of multiple trades within complex building assemblies. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining a high level of productivity and attention to detail. Highly responsive with strong communication skills, demonstrating a clear sense of urgency in email and phone correspondence.Pay:
