Part-Time Contract Position About GSI Global Sports Institute (GSI) is a premier youth sports organization dedicated to developing confident, disciplined, and competitive athletes. Our volleyball program emphasizes skill development, teamwork, accountability, and a positive, growth-focused environment. Position Overview GSI is seeking an Assistant Coach for one of our youth travel volleyball teams. This is a part-time contract position with monthly compensation, ideal for someone who enjoys working with young athletes and supporting team development in a competitive environment. This role includes evening practices at least three times per week and weekend tournament play. Out-of-state travel may be required, depending on the team schedule. Additional income opportunities are available through private lessons. Key Responsibilities Assist the Head Coach during evening practices per week at least twice weekly Support athlete development through skill instruction, drills, and encouragement Assist with coaching duties during weekend tournaments, including possible out-of-state travel Help maintain a positive, structured, and supportive team environment Communicate professionally with athletes, parents, and coaching staff Support team operations as needed during practices and competitions Uphold GSI standards, values, and expectations Qualifications Previous volleyball playing & youth coaching experience required Experience working with youth athletes Availability for evening practices and weekend tournaments Willingness to travel out of state when required Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset Compensation & Opportunities Monthly contract payout Additional income opportunities through private lessons Opportunities for growth within the club and future coaching roles How to Apply Interested candidates should send a brief resume and coaching background to alex@gsi.institute .
