Job Description

Company Description Coast Aquatics is a year-round USA Swimming competitive swim team located on Florida's stunning Emerald Coast, with training facilities in Destin, Ft. Walton Beach, and Niceville. The organization is dedicated to helping swimmers achieve success at all levels, aligned with their abilities, motivation, and dedication. Coast Aquatics provides a structured and supportive environment that fosters physical fitness, discipline, and personal growth. Through its comprehensive training programs, swimmers are empowered to excel both in the sport and in life. Role Description This part-time on-site role, based in Niceville, FL, is for a part time coach to teach, motivate, and train swimmers of various ages and skill levels. The coach will be responsible for leading swim practices, providing technical instruction, and mentoring athletes to help them achieve their goals. Key duties also include supervising and ensuring a safe environment for all participants, maintaining high safety standards, and supporting the team at swim meets. Communication with swimmers and their families will be a vital part of fostering a positive and productive team atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
Coaching at swim meets Coaching work outs (including writing sets and leading practice) Teach basics of all strokes and events Provide correct technical feedback to athletes Communicate with head coach all necessary information from practices and competition Create a positive, safe, and supportive environment that allows athletes to succeed
Qualifications:
Experience in competitive swimming (USA Swimming and/or collegiate background preferred) Previous coaching experience Complete(or able to complete) all USA Swimming certification and coaching requirements: CPR, First Aid, USA Swimming Background Check, Athlete Protection, Lifeguard, Concussion Protocol, etc. Bachelors Degree Preferred, but may be substituted with appropriate prior experience Must be available minimum 3 evenings per week for 2-3 hours. References for previous coaching experience as well as verification of competitive swim experience will be required.
Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
