Job Description

Department Department of Athletics - Facilities and Events Responsibilities Responsible for maintaining strict adherence to budgets and policy directives during planning add decision making related to maintenance and operations of facilities, managing daily operations, maintenance and scheduling of athletic venues and fields for assigned sports. Submitting and logging maintenance work request and monitoring responses and progress of work. Researching vendors for all purchases related to facilities, operations, and event management. Performing administrative duties associated with requestions and purchase orders; coordination of building and event security efforts by working with FSU Police and contract security personnel for assigned sports. Updating security access lists and scheduled building times. Responsible for assisting the Associate Athletics Director and Assistant Athletics Director of Event and Facility management with the planning, coordination and execution of home event management/game operations for all sports with the exception of Swimming and Diving. For assigned sports, responsible for working with coaches and administration on logistics and operations of all home events, including officials. Responsible for formulating and periodically updating policy and procedure guides for home game operations, oversight of all staff supporting home contests, interface with spectators, visiting teams, outside vendors and University stakeholders. Planning, coordination and executing ACC Championships and NCAA postseason tournaments and competitions hosted by FSU Athletics both on and off campus. Responsible for numerous personnel performing contractual and purchase order services and support for athletics. Responsible for assisting in the design, development, and coordination of capital projects and serve as the Athletics

• Department liaison during in progress construction. Responsible for administrative duties, on a rotating basis, to include, but not limited to: radio management and maintenance; coordination of pest control, inventory and acquisition of office supplies; usage, maintenance, and inventory of Athletics owned utility vehicles; and major accountable property management. Perform other work as assigned, including representing the Department of Athletics with internal and external agencies, both on and off campus. Qualifications Bachelor's degree and two years experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.
