Description :

Windermere Preparatory School is seeking a dynamic individual to lead our Girls'Golf program. Ideal candidates should possess a strong golf coaching knowledge, a vision for building an effective program while promoting the growth of student-athletes, demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills and develop positive relationships with players, parents, school staffand the community. Candidates with experience in independent school settings and coaching expertise in a sport are preferred. This position reports to the Director of Athletics.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and organize all aspects of the Girls'Golf program, including practices and matches
• Teach fundamental skills, course strategy, and promote player development
• Foster a positive team culture aligned with Windermere Prep values and UNITAS
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and the Athletic Department
• Coordinate basic scheduling, equipment, and match logistics
• Ensure compliance with school and FHSAA guidelines

Qualifications:

• Previous golf coaching or competitive playing experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of golf fundamentals and player development
• Ability to lead, organize, and build relationships with student-athletes
• Positive communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to educational athletics and student growth
• Meets school and FHSAA coaching requirements
