Cheer Coach (Lead/Assistant) Safari Sports USA Winter Park, FL Job Details Contract $20 - $35 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Paid training Flexible schedule Qualifications Karate Swimming Cheerleading Teaching Camp experience Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Cheer Coordinator/Coach for our cheer camps/leagues. The ideal candidate is a self motivator and will have a passion for cheerleading, education, and mentorship for kids and will need minimum oversight in this cheer coordinator/coach position. This role will provide valuable experience to youth in our cheer program as a Cheer Coach / Coordinator for Safari Sports Duties Provide and teach cheer curriculum during cheer camp/league. Interact with parents and cheerleaders. Weekly communication with safari sports admin team providing updates on cheer sessions, planning, staffing changes or any uodates/changes as it pertains to safari sports. If selected for lead cheer coordinator / coach position: must communicate on parent group with weekly interaction + cheer preparation video for cheerleaders to work on. Provide information to safari admin to help expand the cheer program throughout training , weekly meetings & throughout cheer camp/league. Requirements Strong background in sports coaching or physical education; experience in lifeguarding is a plus. Proficiency in teaching or coaching basketball, martial arts (Karate, Judo), swimming, or climbing. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and inspire young individuals. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also taking initiative. Passion for cheer and commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for cheerleaders.
