The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching, teaching, and working with children. This role involves instructing students in gymnastics techniques, fostering a positive learning environment, and promoting physical fitness. Experience in related areas such as lifeguard duties, martial arts, cheerleading, or teaching physical education is highly desirable. The Gymnastics Coach will play a vital role in developing students' skills while ensuring safety and engagement during classes at our health club or gym facility. Duties Plan and deliver engaging gymnastics lessons tailored to various age groups and skill levels Demonstrate proper techniques for tumbling, balance beam, vault, and floor routines Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve performance Enforce safety protocols and ensure all equipment is used correctly to prevent injuries Manage behavior and maintain a positive, encouraging environment for all participants Assist with warm-up and cool-down exercises before and after sessions Collaborate with other coaches and staff to organize events, competitions, or special classes Maintain cleanliness and organization of the training area and equipment Support the development of students' confidence, coordination, and physical fitness Experience Prior experience working with students in sports coaching, teaching physical education, or childcare settings Background in gymnastics or related disciplines such as cheerleading, climbing, judo, karate, swimming, or martial arts is a plus Experience in behavior management and creating inclusive learning environments Lifeguard experience is advantageous but not required Proven ability to teach children effectively while ensuring their safety and engagement Knowledge of health club or gym operations is beneficial but not mandatory Join our team as a Gymnastics Coach to inspire young athletes while promoting healthy lifestyles through fun and safe gymnastics instruction.
