Community/Lay Coach

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Ability to support the Head Coach of the program Ability to be an active member of the athletic staff Build Teamwork/Leadership capacity in student athletes Comply with GHSA rules and regulations Ability to assist in the functioning of a successful program Provide instruction; assess and encourage student program; manage the learning environment; comply with state and system level regulations and polices; comply with the rules of Professional Standards and Commission code of ethics for educator Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be a community member that possesses advanced knowledge of a certain sport or program based on previous participation or advanced coaching experience.

Working Conditions:

The noise level in the work environment ranges from quiet to loud, when around students

Physical Demands:

Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities.
