Tennis Coach Job Description Job Overview We are looking for passionate and dedicated Tennis Coaches to lead after-school tennis programs across various Gwinnett County Public Schools. The ideal candidate will bring energy, leadership, and a love for the game to help students of all skill levels develop and thrive. This role includes coaching, mentoring students, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the program. Duties Provide high-quality tennis instruction tailored to various skill levels in a fun, inclusive environment. Plan and lead engaging lessons that focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Maintain tennis equipment and ensure courts are safe and clean. Communicate with parents, school staff, and program coordinators about student progress and any concerns. Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that supports student growth and enjoyment. Requirements Prior coaching or playing experience in tennis (competitive or recreational). Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students. Multilingual abilities are a plus to better engage with our diverse student population. A passion for working with youth and helping them develop both on and off the court.
