  • Part-Time Align Gymnastics | Tucker, GA Part-Time | Primarily Weekday Mornings Position Overview Align Gymnastics is looking for a warm, energetic, and dependable part-time coach who has experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children in a movement-based environment.
This position will primarily work with our youngest gymnasts through our Parent and Me gymnastics, preschool gymnastics, and Mother's Morning Out programming . We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and understands how to keep them engaged, moving, learning, and having fun in an age-appropriate environment. Experience specifically in gymnastics is helpful but not required. Candidates with backgrounds in preschool education, childcare, early childhood programs, dance, gymnastics, sports, recreation, movement classes, or similar programs are encouraged to apply. There may also be opportunities for additional recreational gymnastics coaching hours outside of the morning preschool program for candidates who are interested, but additional coaching hours are not required. What You'll Do The coach will help plan and lead engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for toddlers and preschoolers. Responsibilities may include leading Parent and Me gymnastics classes with children and their caregivers; teaching preschool gymnastics classes; assisting with Mother's Morning Out programming; introducing basic gymnastics, movement, coordination, balance, strength, and body awareness through age-appropriate activities; setting up and changing stations, circuits, games, and activities; helping children learn to participate independently and successfully in a group setting; communicating positively and professionally with parents and caregivers; maintaining an organized, welcoming, and safe class environment; and working with other Align coaches and staff to provide a consistent experience for our families. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who can connect with young children. The right candidate should be patient, encouraging, playful, attentive, and comfortable adjusting activities based on the needs and attention spans of toddlers and preschoolers. Qualifications Prior coaching, childcare, preschool, or early childhood experience is preferred. Experience working with toddlers and preschoolers in a movement-based environment is especially valuable.
Applicants must:
Have reliable transportation. Provide personal and/or professional references. Be able to successfully pass a background check. Be comfortable interacting and communicating with both young children and adults. Be dependable, patient, energetic, and able to take initiative. Be willing to learn Align Gymnastics' class structure, curriculum, safety procedures, and coaching expectations. Family-Friendly Morning Opportunity For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity to bring their own child or children with them during eligible morning work hours , making this position potentially well suited for a parent looking for part-time work while remaining involved with their children. Specific arrangements would depend on the child's age, program schedule, and staffing needs. Additional Coaching Opportunities This position is primarily focused on our toddler and preschool morning programming; however, coaches who are interested in working additional hours may have opportunities to coach recreational gymnastics classes at other times. Additional coaching hours are optional and are not required for this position .
