Job Overview We are seeking energetic and dedicated Youth Soccer Coaches to join our team, exclusively serving Maui residents. In this dynamic role, you will inspire young athletes by teaching soccer fundamentals, fostering teamwork, and promoting healthy physical activity. Your enthusiasm and leadership will help nurture a love for sports while ensuring a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children of all skill levels. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on youth development through sports. Must be available Saturday mornings between 9 am and 12 pm In Kahului. Responsibilities Assist our head coaches in our youth soccer practices and games, demonstrating proper techniques and encouraging sportsmanship Foster a positive team environment by motivating players and managing group behavior effectively Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about player progress and team updates Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, including proper use of sports equipment and facilities Maintain accurate attendance records, game schedules, and progress reports Support the planning and execution of special events or tournaments as needed Requirements Prior experience coaching or playing soccer at a competitive or recreational level Strong communication skills to connect effectively with children, parents, and team members Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage groups of young athletes Experience working with children in sports, childcare, teaching, or physical education settings Familiarity with behavior management strategies to promote positive conduct on and off the field Maui residency required; must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends Join us in inspiring Maui's youth through the beautiful game of soccer!
