Job Description

Assistant Girls Tennis Coach- Open Until Filled Grundy Center Community School District is seeking a motivated Assistant Girls Tennis Coach to support our high school girls tennis program. The assistant coach will help develop student-athletes' tennis skills while fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, and a positive competitive experience. Responsibilities include assisting with practices and matches, providing skill instruction and individual feedback, helping prepare athletes for competition, supporting team communication, and promoting a safe and encouraging environment. We are looking for candidates who are positive role models, strong communicators, and enjoy working with students. Previous coaching or tennis experience is preferred but not required. We value individuals who are eager to learn, support student growth, and contribute to a successful program.
Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and supervise practices and competitions. Teach fundamental skills, strategies, and rules of the sport. Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive character development. Ensure the safety and well-being of all student-athletes. Communicate effectively with players, parents, staff, and administration.
