JH Volleyball Assistant Position Summary:
The Junior High Volleyball Coach is responsible for teaching and developing student-athletes in the fundamentals, concepts, and strategies of volleyball while helping create a positive, competitive and supportive team environment. The ideal candidate is a knowledgeable, active, and engaged teacher of the game who understands that junior high athletics are an opportunity to develop both athletes and young people. Essential Responsibilities Assist the head coach with planning and leading organized, purposeful,energetic, and developmentally appropriate practices. Teach volleyball fundamentals, concepts, strategy, teamwork, and game awareness Provide meaningful instruction, encouragement and feedback Support the development of athletes with varying skill levels and experience Follow all school, conference, and activity department policies and expectations Coaching Philosophy The successful candidate will support the development of student-athletes in four key areas:CONFIDENCE
