We specialize in building elite athletes from the ground up through science-backed, high-yield training methodologies. Our facility is dedicated to helping youth, high school, club teams, and adult athletes reach peak physical performance while prioritizing long-term health and durability. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Sports Performance Coach to join our team. This position is exclusively for leading small group training sessions (up to 12 athletes per group); it is not a 1:1 personal training role. The ideal candidate must be a true practitioner who can command a room, manage group dynamics efficiently, and seamlessly adapt coaching cues for various sports and skill levels within a fast-paced environment. Schedule Requirements This position aligns with the competitive sports seasons:
Fall, Winter, and Spring:
Must be fully available to work weekday afternoon and evenings from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturdays 11:00 AM- 4:00 PM .
Note:
Sports performance training hours are consistently held school-year round from 3:00 PM to 7:00/8:00 PM to maintain scheduling consistency for our athletes.
Summer Hours:
To Be Determined based on facility scheduling and team camp demands.
Key Responsibilities Small Group Programming:
Autonomously write and implement comprehensive periodized strength, speed, agility, and energy system programming designed specifically for small group flow (up to 12 athletes).
Group Management & Flow:
Maintain a high-energy, technically precise environment while effectively managing space, equipment, and logistics for groups of up to 12 athletes.
Injury Prevention:
Design and integrate highly targeted prehabilitation and movement mechanics to minimize injury risks specific to various sports within a group training format.
Real-Time Adaptation:
Instantly modify exercises, progression scales, and coaching cues on the fly to meet individual athlete needs and physical limitations inside a group setting.
Facility Culture:
Maintain an elite, motivating, clean, and organized training environment during peak small group hours. Qualifications & Must-Haves Education & Certification (Must meet at least one): A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Exercise Science , Kinesiology, or a closely related field. OR an active, nationally accredited Strength and Conditioning Certification (e.g., NSCA-CSCS, CSCCA-SCCC, USAW, or equivalent). Additionally, you must have all of the following:
Required Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of professional coaching experience working directly with competitive athletes across various sports.
Professional Referrals:
Must provide two professional referrals who can vouch for your programming capability, floor coaching, and reliability.
Technical Skill:
Proven ability to independently build, write, and track long-term athletic programming optimized for group environments.
Safety:
Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
