Job Description
Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract An experienced professional with specialized skills in Computed Tomography (CT) is needed to provide critical imaging services within a clinical setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for an individual dedicated to high-quality patient care and proficient in the technical aspects of CT imaging.
Qualifications:
Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT-CT or equivalent) Valid state licensure to practice as a CT Technologist Demonstrated experience operating CT imaging equipment Comprehensive knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and proper imaging techniques Ability to adhere to all safety protocols and radiation policies Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient communication and teamwork BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferredResponsibilities:
Perform all assigned CT imaging procedures with accuracy and professionalism Prepare and position patients for scans, ensuring comfort and safety Operate and maintain CT equipment while following established protocols Document all procedures, patient information, and scan results according to facility policies Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal imaging outcomes Monitor patient conditions during imaging and respond promptly to any needs or changes Adhere strictly to infection control, confidentiality, and HIPAA guidelinesBenefits:
