Job Description:
Assistant JV Football Coach Abingdon-Avon High School (2026-2027 School Year) Abingdon-Avon High School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant JV Football Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. This one-year co-curricular position provides an excellent opportunity to mentor student-athletes, support the development of a competitive football program, and promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and academic success. The successful candidate will assist with planning and conducting practices, game preparation, player development, and supervision of student-athletes. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to fostering a positive athletic experience. This position is located at Abingdon-Avon High School and is open until filled. ASEP certification is required for non-certified applicants. Compensation will be provided according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement, Appendix B Extra Duty Stipends.
